The American paranormal reality television series Ghost Hunters is back with their newest season 8 episode entitled "City Hell". The program features paranormal investigators Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson who investigate places that are reported to be haunted.
Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson are two plumbers working for Roto-Rooter in New England. They are also the co-founders of TAPS, The Atlantic Paranormal Society, a paranormal research team which investigates hauntings and other strange occurrences, the series now takes precedence in their lives, but they are still honorary employees with the company and continue to do jobs for them if time permits.
Synopsis: Visiting Rhode Island to probe Providence City Hall. Also: a historic house in Farmington, N.Y., is investigated. The team investigates Rhode Island's Providence City Hall. Later, they visit a historic house in Farmington, New York.
As the season finale is progresses the speculations are just getting wilder, some terrific heartfelt goodbyes for Grant from all the members of the team. He certainly has been an integral part of the team above and beyond just being a co founder and definitely the show will not be the same without him. He will be finishing out a couple more cases but then will be stepping aside.
This one-hour weekly show follows their investigations from first contact through the gathering of evidence, and to the reveal of that evidence to the client. Every week Jason, Grant, and their team investigate a new case, from poltergeists who throw a child's toys around an attic to a lighthouse whose late keeper still welcomes visitors. This team of moonlighting ghost hunters are our first and last defense against uninvited paranormal visitations.
